DelMar Behavioral Health & Recovery is a growing multi-state behavioral-health organization committed to helping individuals, couples, and families improve mental health, strengthen relationships, address substance-use concerns, and build healthier, more sustainable lives.
Our services include mental-health counseling and psychotherapy, couples and family counseling, substance-use counseling, specialized counseling, telehealth, recovery-oriented support, and connections to community and social-service resources. DelMar takes a whole-person approach that recognizes the important connections among mental health, substance use, relationships, family life, and the social circumstances that influence well-being and recovery.
DelMar currently serves clients across Delaware, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, and Texas, with services provided according to clinician licensure, scope of practice, clinical appropriateness, service availability, and applicable state requirements.
As part of our continuing growth, DelMar is developing expanded outpatient substance-use treatment, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and recovery-support services in Delaware and New Jersey. Services requiring state facility or program licensure will begin only after applicable state authorization has been obtained.
Our mission is simple: to provide compassionate, accessible, ethical, and person-centered behavioral-health care while helping individuals and families find the clinical, relational, recovery, and community support they need to move forward.
DelMar Behavioral Health & Recovery exists to promote psychological health, strengthen relationships, support sustainable recovery, and advance human dignity and flourishing through accessible, compassionate, evidence-informed, culturally responsive, and ethically grounded behavioral-health care.
Our vision is to build a trusted and innovative behavioral-health network with national reach and international impact, creating stronger pathways to care for individuals, families, and communities. We aspire to become a recognized model for clinical excellence, accessibility, collaboration, and enduring positive change in the lives of the people and communities we serve.
Every person possesses inherent worth. No person should be reduced to a diagnosis, addiction, disability, identity, behavior, past mistake or source of revenue.
Clients should participate meaningfully in decisions about their care, treatment goals and recovery.
We are committed to competent practice, evidence-informed care, professional supervision, ethical decision-making and continuing professional development.
We seek to understand psychological difficulties within the broader context of the person's life, relationships, health, culture, circumstances, values and goals.
DelMar welcomes people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences and provides services consistent with professional ethical standards and applicable nondiscrimination requirements.
Recovery may involve health, responsibility, relationships, stability, community, education, employment, meaning, purpose and hope.
Effective behavioral health often requires collaboration among clients, families, clinicians, medical professionals, recovery supports and community resources.
We value professional supervision, confidentiality, accurate documentation, ethical billing, regulatory compliance, quality improvement and responsible stewardship.
